  THE PRESIDENT OF HOPE (VILTIES PREZIDENTAS)
  The film tells about the late Stasys Lozoraitis, the Lithuanian ambassador to the Holy See, the envoy to the Lithuanian Embassy in Washington and Rome, and the Presidential candidate in 1993 election in Lithuania. It is the story of a man who spent 50 years working as an ambassador of an occupied, i. e. non-existent, state to the Western countries and fighting for the independence of Lithuania. The film uses a lot of archive footage – from the reels filmed by the Lozoraitis family in Italy in 1936 to the footage of the memorable run-up journey across Lithuania.
